My Disney Journey

This blog was a journey of my application to Walt Disney World's Cultural Representative Program, from sorting out my CV through all the interviews to a year of having a mouse for a boss! Now, watch as I try to get back to my second home.

The French know their food. March 18, 2011

Another day off. Yay! Went and got some photos in Epcot. Had lunch at Liberty Inn, nothing special, just a yummy salad. Wandered a bit more. Spoke to Guest Services about my issues with booking Hoop-Dee-Doo for tomorrow night. I’ve been trying to book it online, but the webpage fails and it doesn’t make the booking, even though it pre-authorizes my card (thus leaving me with no money). The lady was ever so helpful about it all, and tried everything she could, but in the end, there was nothing to do except wait for the money to come back to me, and book on a different card/pay on the day. So I went and said hi to the UK, laughed at everyone at work. Then I got dinner at the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. Had a turkey and Brie baguette, a strawberry smoothie, and a slice of chocolate cake. YUM!!! I eventually got cold so I came home. And here I am now!
