My Disney Journey

This blog was a journey of my application to Walt Disney World's Cultural Representative Program, from sorting out my CV through all the interviews to a year of having a mouse for a boss! Now, watch as I try to get back to my second home.

Girlie night, boys, and chocolate! March 27, 2011

I had a very disjointed day at work today. Started off by seating, then got bumped out to run away to my train the trainer class, then came back to break the assigner and then I finished! 😀 I spoke with Yelitza about my pre-service test while I was assigning (it was quiet, so I could). She basically went through what I missed off the test, we chatted about general menu stuff, and I somehow gained my extra 2.5 points during this chat! So I’ll start food running on April 17th!

So, the train the trainer class was awesome. Had some computer based learning to start with, then had a team class with a whole load of really lovely people. It wasn’t location based learning, it was all about how to teach things in different ways, regardless of what you’re actually trying to teach them. I think it’ll be useful knowledge for future jobs too, so yay CV point! 😀

Anyway, after work I came home and chilled out. I’ve been doing a fair bit recently, so yesterday and this evenings time just spent relaxing has been much needed. And now I’ve got Terri and Jane, and we’re having a girly PJ night, talking about boys and eating chocolate and sweets.

And now I’m going, girliness is calling!!!
